Buying beauty products at the mall? It seems to me beauty products at Macy's or Nordstrom are wayyy more expensive than at like Walmart or Target even on same brands. I'm talking like a lip gloss, eyeshadow, etc. For an eyeshadow compact you would pay like $25 at Macys you can get a similar one for under 10 bucks at Walmart beauty section. What are some popular beauty products from the 1960s (revlon make up, breck shampoo, etc.) I'm doing a project on my favourite era in time which is the 1960s, even though I was born in the 80s. It sucks up a handful of moisturizer rather quickly, on my FACE) I also need to know the best earth/eco friendly shampoo and conditioner that seriously hydrates, and lip balm that can cure the most cracked and dried up lips. 10 points to the person that gets all of these in one question. carmex does not work for my lips. it makes it worse.

Thanks for answers my opinion is that if nothing skincare is definitely worth paying for - I've been battling breakouts recently and after trying several cheapish brands I bought about 70 pounds (shudder) worth of dermalogica stuff - never going back. Similarly expensive foundation and powder - if you still have your foundation on after 10 hours and there is no shine then you know it was worth it. But things like eye makeup, unless you've got the cash, why? I'm surprised people mention it so much - I'm happy with my Max Factor, I just couldn't spend 20 quid on a mascara.

How can I sell/distribute beauty products? For years I have had the passion of buying thousands of different beauty products and trying hundreds of different active ingredients. Vit K for under eye, Soy for complexion, Onion extract for scars, silicone for scars, protein this for hair, amino acid that for hair strength, chemical straightening and protein bond extensions (you get the point). I’ve done it all and I don’t even work at a salon or cosmetics counter. Recently I have started to make my own cosmetics line because I’ve found the active ingredients in formulas to be somewhat underused. It’s almost as if they advertise the active ingredient and then only put a drop in to be able to charge a huge amount (eg. Hyaluronic acid). Anyway I don’t think making my own products is something I want to get into anymore. Instead I want to sell the products I believe in and KNOW that they already work.
