Is it degrading in our personality if we are doing direct selling whether services items such beauty products

Presently, I'm involved in placement company , we're hiring our qualified trainees to work abroad, and while employed im also have an extra income, i engaged myself as a unit manager in a direct selling company of beauty products, not just selling but also i recruiting dealers to be a part of this company , what im trying to ask is that is it degrading in my part if i do selling and doing recruiting, because unlike in my present job, im the one they approach but in direct selling im the one approach people to sell and for them to be recruited, other saying it lost my dignity and pride if i do such offering something..what can u say about this, and what is your perception in life? please do help me..thanks

First and foremost, there is nothing degrading,in any work.So long, you labour hard and work honestly for a living,there's nothing wrong in it.Hence question of your pride and dignity being lost is superfluous.Since in both of your jobs,you are honestly and sincerely discharging your duties,there's nothing wrong in it.Maybe,in one job you are approached while in the other job you have to approach.Both are part of your job requirement.Being approached doesnt make you superior anyway and like wise approaching also does'nt make you inferior.Its the job that you are doing.Its only,our false perception and ego at work.In actual life,you'll find many who have reached such heights,cause they never bothered about such trivial things.Dont bother about what others say.Go ahead and work up your way to success.I wish you all the best, in your efforts.Dont get bogged down.
