  1. I think MAC cosmetics has some how tos on their sites. Also, mary kay and avon sales people usually can show you, and any cosmetics counter in the mall too.
  2. well just blend it in nice and easy but you lip gloss on and be cute and have your friends help you!!!
  3. when ur 1st starting out use sheer shades. for example: pink lip gloss, pale pink blush (don't use that much), light shimmery lavendar eyeshadow on ur lid up to the crease and then top it off with a coat of black-brown mascara. that's perfect beginner's make-up right there :)
  4. I personally don't wear much make up, but when I do, this is what I wear: I take the natural face power, and buff it on my face. I put on a bit of red lip gloss, and then when I do my eyes, I put a mid colored shade on my lid, a darker color in the crease, and a light color under the brow. this will give you depth. The blush goes on the high part of your cheek bones, and on your chin and nose.
  5. maybe a little coverup for pimples. some eye shadow, eye liner and mascara. but don't OVER DO UR MAKE UP! show ur natural beauty...and add some ''extra'' LOL....make up is the detail, you are the real beauty!! hehehhe anyway, remember to always make sure ALL the make up is off when u get home..or ur skin will get bad....and worse than it was...careful with make up
  6. okay this is what i do... i get an eyelash curler and then i curl my eyelashes for a couple seconds. Then i put this white mascara from Lacome that is a cils booster and will make your eyelashes longer, then i wait til it like dries and when i do that i put my foundation and bronzer on. Then i curl my eyelashes for a while until it wont go straighter. then i put my black mascara on from lancome. Then i put my brown bottom eyeliner on and my bottom mascara(dont put too much on the bottom) then i put my brown eyeliner on top and then i put this sparkly looking brownish eyeshadow and the i put another coat of black mascara on and im done :)
  7. Just start with the basics: eyeliner, mascara (waterproof) Foundation, Lipstick, Eyeshadow. You want to apply a moisturizer first to your whole face. I'd get a magazine and get pictures that you really like. You really have to practice till you get something that you like. Magazines often have the makeup tips printed so it makes it easy. You'll have to experiment till you find a foundation/concealer that matches your skin tone. Plus, you have to figure out what you skin tone is, are you olive, or more of a peach complexion? Some brands label the colors, like cool tones go good on a person with pale skin. Good luck
  8. Before you apply anything, be sure to use make-up that suits your skin type. Try fashion magazines, they sometimes offer make-up tips (Cosmopolitan), or you can google it. Just remember less is more.
  9. Everyone says less is more, but for some poeple thats not always true. I myself am OBSESSED with eye makeup and LOVE eyeliner... maybe a little to much! lol For a good clean line I use a liquid liner on the top of my eyelid right a top my eyelashes, as well as a real thin line below my bottom lashes. I then line the ridge on my bottom eyelid with a black eyeliner. The liquid liner keeps the regual liner in place so you don't look like a raccoon by the end of the day! I usually dust a sparkly eye shadow on too, above my eye and a little under. Like I said I am way to obsessed with eye makeup! lol
  10. If you live near a Macy's their Clinque counter does makeovers. They can also suggest products for everyday, help you match colors to your skin tone and offer ideas for basic skin care. Merle Norman, in most malls, does that too, although there stuff is really heavy and designed for older women.
  11. Just don't over do it! The best thing that i could say is to practice putting it on, and if you would like, get a book on how to! I like Bobbi Brown Teenage Beauty: Everything You Need to Look Pretty, Natural. Bobbi brown has a couple books out that are very helpful!
  12. You could always look for sites on the internet, some are really helpful, make up always depends on the shape and colouring of your face, some people can wear red lipstick whilst some can't, and some can have natural looking make up but others cannnot. You can always test out colours and shades with the tone of your skin. But I would say either ask someone you know who can apply make up well to teach you or like i said before just search the net, there are plenty of sites that can help.
  13. Use a tinted moisturizer to even out skin tones. Stick to brown/black mascara and get a neutral eyeshadow duo (mauves, greens or browns) and a peach or rose blush. I like powder because you can add more if you need to. Finish it with a tinted lip gloss. As you get more confident you can try more intense colors and decide if you want to emphasis your lips or eyes.
  14. if u go to this site http://www.videojug.com/tag/make-up there are videos that show u how to do stuff its really good.
